Port Elizabeth, 07 October 2019: The Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium is hosting roadshows this week to create awareness around the Bafana Bafana versus Mali Nelson Mandela Challenge match on Sunday, 13 October that will be played at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
The roadshows will take place in various wards throughout Nelson Mandela Bay Metro from tomorrow, Tuesday, 08 October until Friday, 11 October.

“The roadshows will stimulate awareness on the upcoming match among the residents of the metro. This will be the first time in 8 years since Bafana Bafana last played a match in the city,” Mpho Mokonyama, Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium Manager said.

Earlier this month South African Football Association (SAFA) President, Dr Danny Jordaan, officially announced Mali as Bafana Bafana’s opponent for the 25th edition of the Nelson Mandela Challenge.

This game will be Mali’s debut appearance in the Nelson Mandela Challenge, but the two sides are no strangers to each other on the pitch.
